Caryna Vilela, Attorney

Caryna Vilela is an attorney at Marti Law Group. She brings a diverse, international background and an unwavering dedication to her practice, with a primary focus on corporate transactions and strategic business counseling. She is a distinguished legal professional whose experience spans multiple jurisdictions and the full lifecycle of a business, from formation and early-stage structuring to complex contract negotiations and mergers and acquisitions.

Caryna graduated with honors from law school in Brazil, where she established a strong foundation in corporate law and M&A. She later expanded her practice internationally, contributing to respected business law firms in Canada and gaining valuable experience with cross-border transactions and international legal frameworks. She subsequently transitioned into an in-house role at an asset management firm, where she focused on securities regulation, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance matters.

Caryna earned her LL.M. in Business Law from UCLA, where she was awarded the Dean’s Excellence Award Scholarship. Following completion of her LL.M., she gained substantial experience advising clients in California across a full spectrum of business matters, including entity formation and structuring, commercial and technology agreements, corporate governance, financing arrangements, and mergers and acquisitions. This experience further refined her practical, business-oriented approach to counseling companies at all stages of growth.

Outside of her legal practice, Caryna enjoys walking and spending time with her two dogs, exploring hiking trails, unwinding along California’s coastline, and spending time reading.
